The Competitive Development Programme is a friendly and competitive environment catering for ambitious youngsters from eight years old. In a fun and competitive atmosphere, emphasis is placed upon developing skills in all four competitive strokes as well as building a sound base of strength and fitness. Members are encouraged to attend as many of the structured training sessions as possible and to participate in open meet competitions & league galas. There are no set speed criteria to enter the Competitive Development Squads but swimmers will be given a trial prior to joining to see if they like it and to ensure that they meet the required training standard. The Competitive Development Squads are managed by highly motivated professionally qualified ASA Coaches and Teachers with a caring & dedicated approach. Click here to view the CDS Specification
