Arena League Final Fantastic Result for Guildford City ...08/05/2012 Once again Guildford City Swimming Club set off for the final of the Arena League in Sheffiled against the top clubs in the country representing the South East Region. Guildford have been proudly representing the South East Region at the finals for the past 7 years. As always the atmoshphere was amazing with more swimmers and spectators attending the exciting final. All of the swimmers and relay teams swam amazingly with more first and second places that ever before. The theme this year was Spiderman! (film due out in Cinema's soon) and the swimmers showed they too could achieve amazing feats albeit in the water. The supporters danced and jigged there way through the evening obviously enjoying every minute of this very special gala. Chief Coach Richard Garfield said "There was a wonderful team spirit - nothing else like it in GB swimming It was truly an honour & a privilege for us to represent the South as champions - long may it continue!"
